Most masks lose protection as soon as you breathe into them. Air Queen doesn’t —
and the reason comes down to how the filter is built.
A nanofiber filter captures particles by physical structure, not by an
electrostatic charge. That single difference is why an Air Queen mask keeps filtering
through a full, humid day — long after an ordinary mask has quietly stopped.
A nanofiber is an extraordinarily fine fiber woven into a dense web full of microscopic
air holes. Magnified up to 50,000 times, the structure looks like a
tangled net — and that net is the filter. Air passes through the gaps freely, while
particles far larger than the pores are physically caught. The filter openings measure
roughly 0.05–0.1 micrometers, small enough to stop the things you want
stopped while staying easy to breathe through.
Conventional KF94 and similar masks rely on a meltblown layer that carries a static
electric charge to attract fine particles. It works — until it doesn’t. As a property of
static electricity, the moment moisture from your breath builds up, the charge is
neutralized and filtering efficiency drops sharply. The mask looks the
same, but it is no longer doing its job.
Traps particles with an electrostatic charge. Humidity from breathing neutralizes the charge, and filtration efficiency falls — often within hours.
Traps particles with a physical fiber structure. Because it never relied on a charge, it maintains high filtering efficiency for up to 24 hours — even in contact with moisture.
To put the filter’s scale in perspective, here’s how everyday particles compare. The
nanofiber openings sit far below the size of fine dust, droplets, and other particles —
which is why they get caught while air flows through.

Filtering power usually means thick, stuffy layers. Nanofiber flips that. Because the
filtration comes from structure rather than bulk, an Air Queen mask weighs about
4.38 grams — lighter than a single sheet of A4 paper (4.72g). It breathes
easily and stays comfortable through long days, flights, and humid weather.
The technology only works if the mask fits. Air Queen’s 3-dimensional design wraps from
nose to chin, and several details keep the seal comfortable all day:
High adhesion at the nose bridge prevents slipping and stops glasses from fogging.
The dense nanofiber structure also shields skin from more than 90% of UV light.
A roomy breathing pocket covers nose to chin without touching the mouth.
Keep their stretch and fit like new even after long periods of use.
The technology is backed by real, third-party validation — not marketing claims. The
Essential is an FDA-registered barrier face covering, and the Breeze is FDA-cleared as a
surgical mask (510(k) K172500) and separately EU CE FFP2 certified by TÜV Rheinland under
EN149, with an independent lab test confirming filter penetration well under the limit.
You can verify the registration yourself in the
official FDA database.
